Vande Berg Scales was established in 1964 as a direct result of the foresight and entrepreneurial spirit of founders Don L. Vande Berg and his wife Wilma. Using their home and garage as a launching pad, the kitchen table as a workbench and the living room as an office they started a scale service outlet. VBS Inc. has become our operating company and we now manufacture out of a 14800 Square foot facility in Northwest Iowa. Even through the many years of growth we have not lost sight of the Midwest work ethic that got us started.
